FREE MEDITATION TASTER CLASS - 6.30pm on 9 Dec at St Vincents, SW11

On Wednesday 9 December 09, there will be a free 'taster' meditation class, open to everyone. It will be held from 6.30-7.45pm at St Vincents' church hall, 36 Altenburg Gardens, SW11.

It is hoped this free class will help students who are considering joining one of our longer meditation courses. Those attending will experience a simple guided meditation, be able to ask questions and meet other students who have attended past courses. It will be a fun, relaxed introduction into what meditation is, and what it is not. Tea and biscuits will be provided...

To attend, simply send an email to angus@batterseayoga.com and you will be put on the list. Limited spaces available.

N.B. Next term's beginner's meditation course will use Eckhart Tolle's book: The Power of Now . So if you wish to read it before the 9 December, you will have a very good idea of what we will be covering during the course in January 2010.

“Empty your mind, be formless, shapeless - like water. Now you put water into a cup, it becomes the cup, you put water into a bottle, it becomes the bottle, you put it in a teapot, it becomes the teapot. Now water can flow or it can crash. Be water, my friend.”
