Policy for Missed Classes

Can I get a refund if I book a course, but then decide the course is not for me?
Yes. That is not a problem. If you do not like your first class of the course, you simply let the teacher know at the end of the first class and a refund (less any Paypal fee) will be issued, with no questions asked.

What about missed classes during the course? Can I make them up?
Yes, you can make up 2 missed classes per term.
  • for missed Hatha Yoga classes (beginners, intermediate) and Meditation Classes, students can redeem up to 2 MISSED CLASSES per term by attending the Monday night Chatham Hall drop-in classes. Or you can use up your 2 missed classes at another Battersea Yoga class with another teacher DURING THAT TERM, space permitting.
  • for Pregnancy Classes and 'Mother and Baby' classes, any missed classes can be made up by attending another pregnancy yoga / mother and baby class with any teacher during that term
Must I inform the teacher when I miss a class / when I make it up at another class?
No need! Just turn up at the new class and tell the teacher that you are making up a missed classes - and write your name in the register book (if there is one). Space permitting, you can then join in that class.

Can I get a refund in other situations?
No. Sorry. Battersea Yoga cannot offer refunds for students who are unable to attend some or all of the classes on their course due to illness, work, family or other reasons. We did in the past, until it got way out of hand with too many requests. It became impossible to manage and very time-consuming. So PLEASE don't email us about it. Thank you for your understanding.

Is it possible to transfer or carry forward a booked course to a future term?
No. Payment for courses is for the current term and is NOT exchangeable or transferable to future terms or courses. Again, this is for the reason above.
