Yoga
Open Hatha classes
Open Hatha classes are run on a drop-in basis (see Timetable), so they are open to everybody and take place each week throughout the year. (except for a short break of a few weeks over Christmas and Bank Holiday Mondays)
Open Hatha classes involve a full repertoire of postures, sun salutations, breathing exercises and guided relaxation techniques. Further, there is usually a theme to the class each week, covering an important aspect of Yoga, such as; 'listening with the body', 'how to use the breath', 'grounding oneself', 'observing the mind', and so on...
Typically, classes will have students with a wide range of ability and experience. Beginners are welcome to attend these classes, but it is recommended that they also consider joining one of our beginner's courses to learn the basics of Hatha Yoga from the ground up.Class numbers are typically around 20 in drop-in classes, but naturally this can vary from week to week.

Baby Massage Courses
Improving the quality of touch from parent to child is a wonderful skill to develop. It’s the simplest and most effective way for parents to encourage their child's growth and development and alleviate birth trauma and other early infant anxieties.
Mother and Baby Yoga
In these very special classes we combine specific postnatal yoga exercises for the mothers with the wonderful practice of baby yoga to ensure that both mothers and babies enjoy their yoga experience. The postnatal yoga focuses on strengethening the pelvic floor muscles, re-aligning pelvis and spine and re-building core strength whilst the Baby Yoga, through a combination of song, movement and yoga postures, provides a joyful physical experience for the babies. At the end of the end of the class refreshments and snacks are served and the mothers get a chance to catch up and share their experiences of the wonderful and challenging world of mothering. Babies are welcome from 12 weeks to walking.
Toddler Yoga
As a child grows and learns to carry its weight, it naturally develops strength. But unless it experiences a wide range of movements and stretches, they can start to lose their flexibility. Toddler yoga encourages activities during their early years that will keep their bodies healthy and flexible. But these classes are about more than just the physical aspects of balance, co-ordination and flexibility; through songs and rhymes the classes stimulate language, listening and developmental skills; parents discover that through exercising and having fun with their child, bonds between them are strengthened; and children learn the invaluable skill of deep relaxation.
Partner Classes
These very special half day workshops are designed for women and their partners. They are an opportunity to focus and prepare together for one of the most important events of your life in a very relaxed and supportive atmosphere.
